spent some time waiting for the snow, then waiting out the snow.  watched the Rite of Spring with the original Nijinski choreography. and it's clear to me that the riot was more about the dance than the music.  I love the music but the dance is seriously disturbing.  expressionism?  I worked on an acrylic 28 x 40... a revision yeah,

this is a detail. it's upside down  not sure how well it's going to work out?  oh well.  it's just so big and I'm afraid it's going to take another blizzard to finish it.  tape it on the shower wall like the monster sumi.  Saw the Gabriel Orozco show at MoMA yesterday after the blizzard.  there's a whale skeleton suspended in the atrium that has geometric drawing on it.  that's a cool installation.  his paintings strike me as very important if you're into chess.  or rooks specifically.

this is a revision from october.  it was just so far outside what I was doing at the time it grossed me out but I worked on it some more over the weekend.  feel bad to not write a story into this post but maybe it's not that important at the moment.
